The Impact of Law on the Business Environment

Restriction(s): Accounting majors only except by departmental approval. The course focuses on the law of contracts, E-contracts, domestic and international sales and lease contracts, negotiable instruments, creditors' rights, bankruptcy and business organizations. It also includes the legal system, and global business practices in society, with emphasis on the rapidly changing business-legal environment. The relationship among governmental, ethical, social and business issues will also be examined.
