Students will be introduced to scientific thinking, processes, and research through investigation of public, social, and cultural issues that may affect them locally, nationally, and globally. Students will be empowered to conduct research, investigate claims, locate and validate scientific data and sources, question cultural myths, and expand their scientific literacy.
