This is an introductory survey course that broadly examines international justice. The course will cover theoretical foundations of international justice; international justice topics such as transnational crime, terrorism, war and peace, genocide, migration, global poverty, and nuclear weapons; and the structure and mechanisms of international justice, including the efforts of governmental and nongovernmental organizations, and international institutions such as the International Criminal Court, to respond to global injustices. Satisfies Global Cultural Perspective GenEd requirement; satisfies SEEDS Analyzing Cultures and Societies student learning outcome in alignment with Educated Citizenry value.
