Prerequisite(s): PSYC 203. This course will provide an understanding of the basic tenets of the field of clinical psychology. The relation of clinical psychology with other areas of psychology and other disciplines will be discussed. The course will cover clinical psychology's past and present, assessment and intervention, approaches to practicing clinical psychology, multicultural issues in clinical psychology, and the future of the field.
