The Development of Statistics

A survey of traditional and contemporary statistical topics developed within a historical framework and designed to develop an appreciation for the role and universality of statistics as a cultural force in our society. Not for majors in the College of Science and Mathematics. Equivalent course MATH 103 effective through Spring 2020. Satisfies Mathematics GenEd requirement; satisfies SEEDS Quantitative Reasoning student learning outcome in alignment with Educated Citizenry value.
