Students will learn about the development of art and design practices from different parts of the world using changing thematic lenses and geographic foci. Topics include art's intersections within a given society's political, religious, environmental, economic, and social orders, as well as local aesthetics and critical systems of thought. For specific subjects, please inquire with the department. Fulfills the Special Topics requirement for majors. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits.
