This course is continuation of Structure of the Human Body I. Students will build upon their understanding of the human body through the integration of terminology, diagnostic procedures, disease and treatments as they relate to endocrine, muscular, nervous, reproductive, and skeletal body systems. Basic medical terminology and legal terms used in the healthcare profession will also be discussed. Prerequisite: “C” or better in CMA 103: Structure of the Human Body I Course requires a final grade of “C” or better to progress in the CCMA Program.
