Aesthetics - WI

What is art? Who has the power to define the nature of art? How can we engage philosophically with artworks? This course examines the nature and value of aesthetic experiences and works of art. It focuses on historical and contemporary philosophers who have written on art and aesthetics. The course fulfills the Rowan Core Artistic Literacy and the Rowan Experience Writing Intensive and Broad-Based Literature requirements.
