Crisis Communication in Modern Media

This course will introduce students to fundamental principles of crisis communications planning and response, review the maxims that have been learned and reaffirmed via historical crises, and evaluate how these fundamental principles are altered through the lens of modern crisis response, including the compounding effect of social media.
