ANCIENT AFRICAN CIVILIZATIONS

International/multicultural course (I). This course examines Ancient African Civilizations BCE, including Nubia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Meroe and others. The course examines the contributions of these early civilizations to others of that era, including contributions in trade, agriculture, architecture, astronomy, iron technology, engineering and education. Additionally, students will learn of the origins of humanity on the continent and learn of the early political and geographic structure. Faculty: Africana Studies Faculty
