INTRODUCTION TO THREE-DIMENSIONAL DESIGN

Prerequisite: Not open to those with credit for GAH 1255 or ARTV 1168. Not open to Visual Arts studio majors including: the BFA in Illustration, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, or Visual Communications; the B.A. in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts (VIBA); and the B.A. in Visual Arts K-12 Certification (EDVA). Arts Course (A). A beginning three-dimensional design course formulated for the student who wants a "hands-on" experience, involving the actual fabrication of projects dealing with three-dimensional structures: structural and material principles, architectural design, costume design, furniture design, and many other aspects of design dealing with our spatial world.
