PAINTING I

Prerequisite: Introduction to Drawing (ARTV 1162 or ARTV 1166) or Permission of Instructor. Arts course (A). Introduction to the materials and techniques of oil painting. Emphasis is placed on color theory in relation to observation, color mixing, traditional paint application methods, and formal composition.
