The course is an examination of human anatomy and the basic principles of physiology. In addition to microscopic and gross anatomy of the human body, students will learn about fundamental mechanisms that underlie the function of the cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory, lymphatic, immune, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Prerequisites: BIOL 1260 with a D- or better. Corequisites: None. Restrictions: Not open to students with credit for BIOL 2270. Not open to students accepted to Nursing Program. Not open to students accepted to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program or for students who intend on applying to the STOCKTON University DPT program.
