BIOSTATISTICS

Description: An introductory quantitative course designed for students with interests in biology and marine science. Basic statistics and numerical techniques commonly employed in the natural sciences are explored. This includes topics such as parametric and non-parametric hypothesis testing. Cross-listed with MARS 3105. Restrictions: Not open to MARS majors and minors. Prerequisite: MATH 1100 OR 2215 and BIOL 1200 or 1400 all with a C- or better Corequisite: NONE Attributes: Quantitative reasoning intensive course (Q1).
