CHEMISTRY IV: THEORY & APPLICATION

Description: This is the last in the two-year, four-course sequence in general and organic chemistry. It is designed for students with a solid background and strong interest in chemistry. Atomic structure and chemical bonding; redox reactions and electrochemical potentials; chemical kinetics; chemical thermodynamics; nuclear chemistry; and descriptive chemistry of some representative elements and transition metals. Prerequisites: CHEM 2110 and CHEM 2115 both with a grade of C- or better Corequisite: None Attributes: This course may be offered in sections with a Q2 designation
