COMPUTER NETWORKING PRINCIPLES

Prerequisite: MATH 2225 or MATH 3325. Open to Juniors and Seniors only. Introduces the principles and technologies of modern computer networks. Topics include network topologies, networking protocols, the layered approach to data communications, the TCP/IP model, client/server systems, network applications, and security. Course includes hands-on labs that involve configuring a Linux Local Area Network.
