INTRODUCTION TO MICROECONOMICS

Prerequisite: ECON 1200. Examines the development of the market system, consumer demand, production theory, and price determination in competitive and monopolistic situations. Discusses the impact of the decisions made by consumers, corporations, and government agencies on the society as a whole. Issues include poverty, pollution, and business mergers.
