ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES SEMINAR

This course is designed to introduce different aspects of the profession of environmental science and environmental studies. It aims at helping students to understand the nature of their future career and guiding students to be better prepared for it. In this class, students will learn about the people of the field and their works through a series of guest presentations. Students completing the class should have a basic knowledge of the real world of post-graduation, what to expect and what are expected of them in workplaces. This is a required course for students majoring in Environmental Science/Studies. Students can take this multiple times and are encouraged to do so. Offered each fall and spring semester and usually meets bi-weekly. Prerequisites: ENVL 1100 with a C or better or equivalent.. COREQUISITES: None. RESTRICTIONS: None. ATTRIBUTES: None
