Study of trees: taxonomy, morphology, anatomy, physiology, and ecology. Emphasizes biological and major physical environmental factors affecting geographical distributions. Laboratory involves the identification of trees on the basis of leaves, bark, twigs, buds, and fruit. (Lab and field.) This course meets the plant requirements for BIOL major.
