GROUNDWATER HYDROLOGY

The topics discussed include the role of groundwater in the hydrologic cycle, the occurrence of groundwater, physics of groundwater flow, aquifer properties and flow to wells, simulation of groundwater flow, and groundwater-surface water interactions. Geological and geophysical methods used in groundwater study will be discussed as well. This course may be offered in sections with a Q2 designation. Offered every Spring. Prerequisites: ENVL 2100 AND ENVL 2200 AND ENVL 2400 AND ENVL 2600 AND MATH 2215 with a grade of C or better.
