Prerequisite: FINA 3110 or FINA 3115 with a grade of C or better. Open to juniors and seniors only. International/multicultural course (I). (Same as INTL 3600.) A comprehensive study of international financial management of global business enterprises. The course will emphasize the operations of multinational firms. Cases will be used to understand the current trends and themes on international financial environment, international monetary systems, balances and imbalances of payments, foreign exchange markets, futures and options markets, foreign exchange risk management, financing from a global perspective, and direct foreign investment decisions of global firms. This course may be offered in sections with a Q2 designation.
