ARGUMENT & PERSUASION IN SOCIAL SCIENCES

Prerequisite: Open only to freshmen. Not open to students with credit for GSS 2121. Open only to students who have fulfilled the basic skills competency requirement. Writing Course (W1). This course is a version of Argument and Persuasion that focuses specifically on issues in the social and behavioral sciences. As a course in argument, students will study argument forms and critical thinking strategies. In addition, they will research and write their own arguments. Same as GSS 2121. Faculty: STAFF
