PEER EDUCATION: POWER BASED VIOLENCE

Students will obtain knowledge about issues related to power-based violence, such as sexual assault and domestic/dating violence, and gain practical experience providing prevention education through a service-learning project. The project will focus on developing and executing a program for sexual assault awareness. Students who pass the course are eligible to apply for a position as a Peer Educator for Power Based Violence with the Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Center.
