WEATHER AND CLIMATE IN NJ

Open only to freshmen. This is a freshman seminar. This freshman seminar course will introduce the basic concepts in science needed to understand the weather in NJ. Students will learn the structure, nomenclature, and history of severe weather, including hurricanes, tornadoes, and severe snow storms. Students will be introduced to the scientific method, improve their research skills, and learn some basic spreadsheet techniques of data analysis. Students will also be introduced to the climate and structure of Stockton University, and how to navigate Stockton in blue skies and stormy weather. Faculty: J. Trout
