First course of the basic three-term calculus sequence, but also appropriate for students wishing to take only two semesters of calculus. Topics include functions and their graphs, limits, derivatives and their applications, introduction to integration, and trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Offered each term. Prerequisites: MATH 1100 with a grade of C or better, may not be taken concurrently; OR Accuplacer College Math 85, OR MATH SAT score of 620-800, OR ACT Math 27, OR AAF 285, none of which may be taken concurrently.
