CARE OF THE ADULT II

Open only to 4-year BSN majors. Prerequisite: NURS 3100 and NURS 3105 and NURS 3300 and NURS 3305 with a grade of C+ or better. Co-requisite: NURS 4205. The physiological mode continues as the focus for study. Chronic and acute problems encountered by young adult, middle adult and older adult, from diverse backgrounds will provide classroom and clinical background. Student progress and depth will build on the concepts encountered in Care of the Adult I and additional topics specific to medical surgical adaptations are integrated in this senior level course.
