BIOSTATISTICS & EPIDEMIOLOGY IN POPULATION HEALTH

This course will enable students to analyze epidemiological and biostatistical data in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical prevention and population health. Concepts of public health, health promotion, morbidity & mortality, determinants of health, and cultural diversity and sensitivity will be incorporated into the role of the advanced-level nurse. Additionally, this course will enable students to collect, compute, analyze, and interpret biostatistical data as it relates to research studies on clinical prevention and population health.
