INTRODUCTION TO POLITICS

This introductory-level course focuses on the big questions in political science. Students will use a variety of sources-news, pop culture, film, and scholarship to deepen their understanding of the meaning of politics and how it operates in our society. This class is an opportunity for students to learn how politics is reflected both in our personal lives and the globalized world we live in today. It is also an avenue for students to deepen their cognitive and analytical skills so that they have more confidence in engaging in the pressing ethical and conflictual challenges of our time.
