CIVIL LIBERTIES

This Law seminar focuses on the protections provided individual citizens by the Bill of Rights and the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Special emphasis will be placed on protections afforded by the Equal Protection Clause, the Due Process Clause, and the First Amendment (including freedom of speech and religious freedom). Students will study the issues by reading major decisions of the United States Supreme Court. Faculty
