CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY

Prerequisite: PSYC 1100 Open to juniors and seniors only. This course is designed to provide an overview of clinical neuropsychology. Students will become familiar with various disorders of the central nervous system and the role of neuropsychological assessment in diagnosing and treating these disorders. Classes will consist of lectures, hands-on practice with administering neuropsychological tests, and review of clinical case studies. Students will also learn the clinical application of neuropsychological assessments (e.g., treatment recommendations, cognitive rehabilitation, and determination of capacity). Faculty: C. GAYDA
