MPH INTERNSHIP: APPLIED PRACTICE EXPERIENCE

Applied Practice Experience (i.e., internship, fieldwork, etc.) is required for all MPH students. This course is a traditional internship with a pre-planning component at the start and written/presentation components at the conclusion. These activities facilitate the successful completion of this internship experience, which is essential for a career in the field of Public Health. Students are required to complete approximately 200 contact hours with their internship supervisors and should budget time to complete the planning requirements in advance of the internship start date, and the summative assignments at the end of the experience.
